Virtual Village Hall

Municipal Offices are closed to the public but our staff will remain available through phone, email and our website SouthOrange.org. While we are limiting in-person interactions with staff, they are prepared and eager to continue serving residents in a safe way.

Message from the Village President Sheena Collum

On behalf of the South Orange Board of Trustees, we are pleased to launch this site which provides information regarding government services, ways to support our local business community, opportunities for you to donate to help our most vulnerable neighbors, and additional resources that may help you navigate this very difficult time. The coronavirus is here in South Orange and our best defense is a strong offense. We join Governor Murphy in advising all residents to stay at home and avoid all unnecessary travel and interactions to the greatest extent possible. Remember, we are collectively responsible for, and accountable to, each other.  We have no choice but to be exceptional in our efforts to “flatten the curve” by practicing strict social distancing (6 feet of distance at all times). We’re going to get through this together.
